Robert DeKoning serves as CEO for Thomsen’s Inc. He is a highly accomplished CEO, Board Member, strategic growth consultant, and transformational leader with over 30 years of senior-level success driving turnarounds and scaling companies. He has leveraged his extensive experience to create solutions for companies across the business sectors of telecommunications, I.T., human capital management, entertainment, retail, automotive, healthcare, transportation, and environmental services. Some of Bob’s accomplishments as CEO include:
- year over year revenue growth of more than 80% over five years for Kingcom and its successful acquisition by Intelisys in 2017
- almost doubled revenue for Tactix, Inc. in 2 years, creating a liquidity event for its owners
- successfully developed and sold Unicru to Kronos for $150M in 5 years
- led Rentrak Corporation (now Comscore), increasing revenues from $35M to $68M in three years
Besides serving on numerous boards, Bob’s expertise includes strategic planning, business development, sales/ marketing, human resources, financial controls, and additional transferable abilities for most vertical markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Finance from the University of Oregon.
